# File-handlers configuration

The service processes uploaded files: it renders previews of document pages, converts office formats and downsizes images. The configuration file is mounted into the container at `/flip/config/config.yaml`.

## Configuration fields

### General settings

* **port**: HTTP server port.\
  Example: `8080`
* **format**: Image format for page previews: `webp` or `png`.\
  Example: `webp`
* **LogLevel**: Logging level: `debug` or `info`.\
  Example: `info`

### S3Config

::: danger Important
The backend and file-handlers services must be connected to the same S3 storage and the same bucket.

* **Bucket**: Bucket name.\
  Example: `flip`
* **Region**: Storage region. For MinIO, any value will do.\
  Example: `ru-central1`
* **AccessKey**: Access key.\
  Example: `flip-minioadmin`
* **SecretKey**: Secret key.\
  Example: `flip-minioadminsecret`
* **Url**: S3 storage URL.\
  Example: `http://flip-minio:9000`

### RedisConfig (Valkey)

The backend and file-handlers services must be connected to the same Valkey instance.

* **Address**: Valkey server address.\
  Example: `flip-valkey:6379`
* **Username**: Username. Leave empty if ACLs are not used.\
  Example: `""`
* **Password**: Password. Leave empty if not used.\
  Example: `""`
* **DB**: Database number.\
  Example: `0`

### Uploader

* **Type**: Where processing results are saved. Required field; the value is `s3`.\
  Example: `s3`
