# Signing up for flip as a new user

To start working in flip, you need to sign up. You can create an account in two ways: on the website or by invitation.

### On the website

* Follow this [link](https://flip-chart.ru/app/auth/registration?lang=en).

* Fill in the **Email** field, come up with a password for your account, then enter it and repeat it.

  ::: warning Important
  Please note that the password must be at least 8 characters long and must not contain special characters.

* Click **Create account**.

* Copy the confirmation code from the email sent by flip and enter it in the form.

  ::: warning Important
  **What to do if the email with the code hasn't arrived**

  * Check your **Spam** folder. The email may have ended up there by mistake.
  * Click **resend it** in the code entry window.

  **Contact us if the email still hasn't arrived:** message us on [Telegram](https://t.me/flipchartru), [VK](https://vk.com/flipcommunity) or email us at support@flip-chart.ru.

* Fill in your profile: enter your **name** (required) and, if you like, fill in the **Occupation, Company** fields and choose an **Industry.**

* Click **Continue**.

* Create your first space: enter a name and click **Get started**.

Done! Your first space has been created — create your first flip and invite other members to your team.

### By invitation

* If you were invited to join flip by email, you will receive an email with an invitation to the space:

* Open the email and click **Open flip**.

* Come up with a password for your account, then enter it and repeat it.

* Click **Create account**.

  **What to do if the email with the code hasn't arrived**

* Fill in your profile: enter your **name** (required) and, if you like, fill in the **Occupation, Company** fields and choose an **Industry**.

  After signing up, you will go straight to the space you were invited to. You can create a new flip and work with existing ones.
