Team details are collected in the “About Team” window: it shows who created the team, when it was created and how many flips it has. The team creator, admins and the space owner can also change the team name and avatar and transfer the team ownership to another member in this window

How to open the “About Team” window

1. Click the three-dot button next to the team name — above the list of flips or in the team row in the left sidebar
2. Select “About team”

The owner and admins can open this menu for any team of the space in “Space settings” → “Teams”

What the “About Team” window shows

• “Creator” — the name and email of the team creator. If the creator is no longer in the space, “(Deleted user)” is shown below
• “Created” — when the team was created
• “Flips” — how many flips the team has
• The team name and avatar

Team members without permission to change the settings can only view the window: the fields and the “Save changes” button are inactive for them

How to change the team name and avatar

The team creator, admins and the space owner can change the name and avatar

1. Open the “About Team” window
2. Change the team name — up to 64 characters
3. Choose an avatar: a color — the team initials will be shown on it — or one of the ready-made pictures
4. To use your own image, click “Upload avatar” and select a file. In the editor, drag the image, adjust the zoom with the slider and click “Save”
5. Click “Save changes”

The “Changes saved” message appears. The new name and avatar are shown in the left sidebar and above the team's list of flips

How to transfer team ownership

Transferring ownership makes another member the team creator. The team creator, admins and the space owner can do it

1. In the “About Team” window, click “Transit rights” under the creator's name
2. Select a space member — you can find them with the “Search” field
3. Click “Done” — the “Ownership transferred successfully” message appears

If the selected member is not in the team, the “Member is not in the team” window opens. Click “Add and transfer ownership” to add them to the team and make them the creator, or click “Cancel” to choose another member

After the transfer:

• The new creator can change the team name and avatar, remove members from the team, answer join requests, transfer the ownership and delete the team
• The previous creator stays in the team as a regular member. If they are not an admin or the space owner, they keep access to the team's flips but can no longer change the team settings or delete the team

If you are the only member of the space, you can't transfer the ownership — the “Transferring rights isn't possible. You are the only member of the space” message appears

Limitations

• Only the team creator, admins and the space owner can change the name and avatar and transfer the ownership
• The team name can be up to 64 characters long and can't be empty
• On a phone, the “About Team” window opens when you tap the team name at the top of the screen. You can only change the name there, and changing the avatar and transferring the ownership are available on a computer or tablet
